He was a pilot in the United States Marine Corps during World War 2 at the age of 28, trained as a pilot. He served in the Pacific theatre. He was a military officer who served to save his motherland. Tyrone Power's military service was also a lot of hurdles, as he was not doing well because his parents’ health was not good at that time, and a lot of family pressure was there to not continue the military service. He earned several medals for his service, and in January 1946, he was released from duty and died.
